Today, Waterloo Region’s experiential museum THEMUSEUM has announced the launch of its “JabbedlikeJagger” campaign — which will offer free admission for a visit to THEMUSEUM this summer to anyone with proof of vaccination. They say the goal is to encourage the local community and visitors to Waterloo Region to do their part while contributing to a safe return to public spaces.
The concept of “JabbedlikeJagger” is inspired by the message being conveyed by famous Rolling Stones band member Mick Jagger — who has spoken outwardly about the benefits of vaccines in recent weeks. Set to host the Canadian premier of the Rolling Stones | UNZIPPED exhibition in just seven months, THEMUSEUM’s CEO David Marskell hopes that this campaign will encourage people to get the vaccine and ensure that the public feels safe visiting THEMUSEUM’s upcoming exhibitions, events and camps.
