I’ve always been overweight and never happy with my body, so for a long time I thought I’d get in better shape for my wedding so I could look my best. My wedding is in June and I’m not confident I will make it to that target weight.
My parents have been on me about losing weight. Every time wedding plans come up they ask me about how my diet is going. It’s going but I’ve never been one to diet or really stick with an exercise plan. The shopping for my dress was a bit of a nightmare in itself. I know my parents want me to feel better about myself on my wedding day and look beautiful, but I’m going to look the way I look at my wedding. I’ve accepted it, and I want them to accept it too. And words of advice to get through this??? -Wedding weight loss
