Are you ready to get out of the house and play a game? Want to help our local Women’s Shelter? Come Race the Region for Shelter!
Join us on June 4th & 5th to Race the Region for Shelter. It’s a few hours full of ADVENTURE & FUN, as you tour around Waterloo Region! Royal LePage Wolle Realty and Fields Trips have partnered to bring you this part-scavenger hunt, part amazing race, part road rally, part history lesson, part puzzle building event that all your family and friends can participate in. Not to mention you will be helping out local Women’s Shelters right here in the Region. All proceeds will be donated to the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation for Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region and Woolwich Community Services
Take part in an intriguing, SAFE, SELF-DRIVE (in your own vehicle) regional road trip with a focus on hyperlocal tourism. Our theme for Waterloo Region is INDUSTRY to INNOVATION and all that is IN BETWEEN. Come EXPLORE your backyard and DISCOVER the pieces of the puzzle. By way of using clues and directions, you’re encouraged to take photos along the way. t your final stop you will be rewarded with a 500 piece puzzle as a reminder of your time exploring the Region and you can have your picture taken at our photo booth and enjoy some refreshments with the Wolle Realty gang and our sponsors.
There are multiple time spots open both days so you can pick a day/time that works best for you. The route should take between 2.5 – 3 hours!
BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE…
While it is not a race…points will be given on start & end times as well as checkpoints. Points will also be awarded for the number of SNAPSHOTS captured.
How many people can play? Tickets are $75.00 per vehicle and you will need a minimum of 2 in the vehicle (a driver, a navigator) and as many others as you want to cram in.
