Many say that the first day of spring is March 20th, but in Stratford, spring starts with the Annual Swan Parade Celebrations.
Join us for a weekend of family fun throughout Stratford culminating with the parade taking place on Sunday, April 8 at 2 pm of the official ambassadors, the swans, marching from their winter quarters to the Avon River.
Throughout the weekend, search out decorated topiary swans for a chance to win prizes. Join a nature walk to learn more about the life of the swans and hop aboard free horse-drawn carriage tours. Street performers entertain while our swan mascot poses for photos. Events are presented by Stratford Tourism partners, Stratford City Centre BIA, City Staff, Stratford Festival, the Civic Beautification & Environmental Awareness Committee, Re/Max a-b Realty Ltd. and Camp-Out RV.
