: We are preparing to launch our Spring into Action Food and Fund Drive next month and would be delighted if you can help us with promoting the campaign.
As you know the pandemic has been challenging for everyone, but especially people who are financially struggling. We have seen an increase of 51% due to the pandemic. Our staff has been working round the clock mostly without volunteers while moving more food out than ever before. This includes providing hampers weekly (not 8 times a year!) which has been necessary to keep up with the needs of our community at this time.
For us, this means that this upcoming spring food drive is especially paramount. We have to procure from the community what we require in food donations and in funds to support people who really need us.
We are accepting monetary donations on our website cambridgefoodbank.org and Food can be donated into the bins at local grocery stores. Food and Funds can also be dropped off at our 54 Ainslie Street location.
