In collaboration with Soldier On a charity that helps provide aid and rehabilitation to soldiers and their families.

In memory of Pte. Joshua Almeida of 1RCR a Cambridge local who was involved in a tragic car accident which resulted in his untimely passing this past March. Josh was in all ways an immensely kind person and a leader to his very core. This event has morphed into something larger than we had anticipated with support from not only Soldier On, but the military itself. Our event will run on November 11th, 2019 (Remembrance Day) with both attendance from reps at Soldier On and members of the Armed Forces from 1 RCR, and is open to Conestoga College faculty and student. We would greatly appreciate the community’s assistance in helping us reach our goal of $6,000 which can be made to our Go Fund Me (on our website). This money will go towards helping SIX soldiers on their journey of healing. This November, we remember those who have fought in the past and those who are fighting for our futures.
