Art Exhibit: CAFKA’s New Art Project CO2 Sequestration Via Trees

CAFKA’s latest project, CO2 Sequestration Via Trees, tackles issues of climate change.

The octagonal domed greenhouse installation houses 2,600 silver maple seedlings, which represents the offsetting amount of one individual’s carbon footprint in trees.The project will be on view for the public at Conestoga Mall in Centre Court beginning September 21, 2019 through October 28, 2019.

Artist Opening reception: Sept. 21, 7 p.m., with artist Paul Chartrand.

Conestoga Mall will also host Kids Art Programming provided by Artshine. Workshops will be held on the weekends of September 21st and 22nd, as well as September 28th and 29th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
