A member of our Clan family is going through the unthinkable. On May 28, Kristopher Foisy, our
Executive Chef, brought his three-year-old son, Logan, into the ER. It was there they discovered Logan
has a mass the size of a bouncy ball on his brain. On May 30, it was confirmed that Logan has Diffuse
Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).
DIPG is a highly aggressive and difficult to treat
brain tumour, most common in children, found
at the base of the brain. This rare pediatric
cancer is diagnosed in less than 30 children in
Canada each year. Unlike other brain tumours,
DIPG cannot be surgically removed due to its
location on the brainstem. Logan is currently at
McMaster Children’s Hospital in Hamilton and
will soon begin radiation to help with the
swelling.
Kris has been a member of our Clan family for more than two years, and both him and his partner
Meagan Rowe, Logan’s Mom, have been our friends for over a decade. We need to do everything we
can to help their family during this terrible time. From Friday, June 7 until Sunday, July 28, all profits
from our Incredible Hulk Burger , a feature at all three restaurants, will be donated to the family through
Logan’s Fight . Additionally, we will be holding a massive, all-day fundraising event, Fight for Logan , at
Malt & Barley Public House on Sunday, July 28. This will include a Superhero Breakfast, Carnival Lunch,
and Casino Night. We hope to raise $20,000 to help Kris and his family with care for Logan’s little
brother Elliott, medical expenses, and anything else they may need.
We’re looking to you, our friends, supporters, partners, and fellow Clan members, to help make this
fundraising goal possible. If you can donate your time, money, or product to support our Fight for Logan,
we would greatly appreciate it. 100% of what is raised on July 28 will be donated to Logan’s Fight. We

the word to gain as much support as possible for our Clan member in need.
