Bingemans to Bring Chart-Topping German Band “Dorfrocker” to Canada for the First Time Ever!

KITCHENER, Ont. – Bingemans is rolling out the fun for its 51st season of Oktoberfest with new and exciting Bavarian experiences! This year, guests will celebrate with an authentic, chart-topping, German- Oktoberfest Rock style band; Dorfrocker!

Dorfrocker has played all over the world, sold out 50,000 person events and played in more than 1,200 live shows. Their last three albums entered the Top 10 German billboard charts in front of international superstars such as Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga, and now they’re coming to Oktoberfest at Bingemans!
“We wanted to bring our guests an even more outstanding Bavarian experience this year,” says Mark Bingeman, president of Bingemans. “Dorfrocker has a completely unique sound in combining traditional accordion music with rock music, and they get the crowd involved like we’ve never seen before.”
Dorfrocker will be playing at Kool Haus on both October 11th and 12th.

 

“We’ve toured all over the world, but this will be our first time in Canada. We’re excited to bring a piece of Germany to Bingemans Oktoberfest and celebrate with everyone!” says Markus, a member of Dorfrockers.

The festival will be offering many other Bavarian experiences, including the return of the second festhalle – Paulaner Haus, which was new last year and an instant hit with guests, as well as the Prosit Platz, our huge outdoor licensed patio area with more activities and festivities for patrons to enjoy. Guests will be able to enjoy all three of these areas with the purchase of only one ticket.

No Oktoberfest is complete without a variety of local craft and authentic German brews. Festbier, specially brewed for our Kool Haus by proud sponsor Waterloo Brewing, will once again be available during the Oktoberfest season at LCBO stores and Bingemans Oktoberfest events. Paulaner and Hacker-Pschorr, brews directly from Munich, will be available at these events as well.

Anyone wanting to get in the Oktoberfest spirit early can have their say by voting for which craft beer they’d like to see served at Bingemans Oktoberfest events at Bingemans.com now. This year there have been some new local favourite craft brewers joining the polls for a chance to serve at the festivities.
Main festivities are set to take place October 11th, 12th, 18th and 19th, 2019.

Other Oktoberfest events scheduled to take place at Bingemans include the Rogers Free Family Breakfast, Retroberfest, and the Ultimate Bavarian Feast.
