Join rare staff for an Earth Day Shoreline Cleanup at Preston Flats!
You’ll have the opportunity to
explore part of the 900+ acre land trust that is not generally open to the public — while contributing to the protection of our shoreline and the wildlife that call rare home.
Garbage accumulates along the shore from upstream sources, especially after spring flooding. With your help, we will remove as much garbage as possible, creating a healthier ecosystem while enjoying nature and the company of other like-minded individuals!
Meet at Moyer’s Landing (if you are heading north on Fountain Street from Kitchener, go straight through the roundabout at Blair Road. Then make your first right after the Fountain Street Bridge. If heading south on Fountain Street, take the last left before crossing over the Fountain Street Bridge). Parking is available at the site.
