The evil brother of the archdeacon plots with the gypsy king to foment a peasant revolt. Meanwhile, a freakish hunchback falls in love with the gypsy queen.
The gypsy queen is framed for murder by the infatuated Chief Justice, and only the deformed bellringer of Notre Dame Cathedral can save her.
Concert Organist Ian Sadler, preforming the live organ music for THE HUNCHBACK of NOTRE DAME in the sanctuary while the B&W movie plays on the big screen.
On Friday October 23, Wesley United Church in Cambridge will be hosting a concert called “THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME”. This event will be featuring Ian Sadler ( conductor of the Stratford Concert Choir) playing the Wesley pipe organ for the music to the 1923 silent movie production staring Lon Chaney and Patsy Ruth Miller. The show starts at 7:30pm and is approx. 90 minutes long. Tickets for the concert are $15.00 and can be purchased from the church office (519-621-6060 Tues-Friday or Saturday morning at the Wesley Apple Corps café 9-11am). If you want to have an evening outing you can come to the dinner at 6:00pm in the church hall. Tickets for the dinner and concert are $35.00. Seating is limited for the meal so get your tickets early. Wesley United Church is located at 6 Cambridge St in Cambridge next to the Cambridge City Hall and Farmers Market. Lots of parking in the area.
