with a 12-HOUR BROADCAST!
RedDAY is Friday, June 6th – an annual fundraiser supporting our community’s heart health at Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN).
It’s a day for staff, local businesses, and the community to come together and wear red while supporting cardiac care.
Tune into 91.5 The Beat as we broadcast LIVE from 6am-6pm on June 6th in support of RedDAY!
Manulife is matching RedDAY donations up to $200,000 – this means each donation makes TWICE the impact!
Money raised fund’s WRHN’s PREVENT Clinic, aimed at preventing serious health conditions.
About PREVENT:
• A new program, started in 2024, with investment from Manulife.
• Helps those at-risk of heart disease by tailoring treatment plans that can mitigate risk, including:
o helping patients stop smoking
o improving diet and exercise
o and managing other health issues that could lead to heart disease
• Meant for people without family doctors, who therefore don’t have access to regular screening and testing
• Operates out of WRHN’s Cardio-Pulmonary Rehabilitation Centre at The Boardwalk, Waterloo.
