The Cambridge Celebration of the Arts will be on June 15 from 6-11 p.m. at Cambridge City Hall and surrounding area. With a new brand more reflective of the community spirit of the event, the Cambridge Celebration of the Arts features local artists showcasing their talents in the visual, performing and literary arts. This year’s event features the unveiling of a new wall mural, four performance stages and a variety of food truck, beer and wine.
Over 60 pieces of juried art by 11 local artists will be on display along with a unique sensory exploration exhibit from DeafBlind Ontario Services. Five local schools have also contributed three art pieces each to be judged at the event for a new People’s Choice Award for Youth Visual Arts.

Following this event will be the Cambridge Street Art Scene on Saturday, June 16 from 8 a.m – 3 p.m. on Dickson Street. The Street Art Scene will host an art market with more than 25 local vendors, live entertainment, a beer garden and food trucks. Partnering with local groups, the Street Art Scene will also include The Literacy Group’s Rodding for Reading Car and Motorcycle show in Beverly Parking Lot, a historical tour of Downtown Galt with Cambridge Archives and Father’s Day activities at the Cambridge Farmers’ Market.

Chalk artists will be in attendance at both events and graffiti artist Ean Kools will be painting two cars over the two days.
Also bridging both days will be Cambridge Art Attic which runs June 14-16. Sponsored by the Cambridge Arts Guild, this annual fundraising event features a silent auction and sale of art donated by community members. All proceeds from the auction support Cambridge Centre for the Arts events such as Cookies and Kids, the Juried Art Show and the Cambridge Studio Tour and Sale.
