The 2nd Annual Mel Brown Music Festival and Symposium celebrates Black art and artistry, and is offered FREE to all attendees in 2023.
This multi-day, multi-venue event runs May 26 – 28 in Kitchener’s Civic District, and features three concerts and a public symposium. Events are hosted at Kitchener Public Library’s soft-seat theatre, meeting rooms, and iconic Reading Lounge at Central Branch, and at Church of the Good Shepherd’s “Shepherd Stage”.
May 26 – 27, all events take place at Kitchener Public Library, 85 Queen Street North.
May 28, all events take place at Church of the Good Shepherd , 116 Queen Street North.
You must claim tickets for each event you wish to attend. There are four ticketed events total.
