Waterloo-Wellington Relay For Life

The Relay For Life, through the Canadian Cancer Society, is an annual walk event that happens in the region each June in support of those living with cancer.

The Waterloo Wellington event is happening Saturday, June 10th at Woodland Christian High School at 1058 Spitzig Road, Breslau, N0B 1M0. Registration opens at 2:30pm, with Opening Ceremonies kicking off at 5:30pm.

While at this year’s Relay For Life, participants and teams will have the opportunity to celebrate our Participants of Hope, walk the track, enjoy some entertainment and activities, get their face painted and participate in our Luminary Ceremony in memory of those we’ve lost to cancer.

Since 1999 Relay For Life has united a collective of Canadians, who are a force-for-life in the face of cancer. At Relay For Life events, participants of all ages gather at a community space and take turns walking around a track or path to symbolize the perseverance and action needed to change the future of cancer.
