It is the 22nd Childhood cancer fundraising BBQ that we host at Bechthold Home Improvements in Petersburg on the second Thursday of July every year! Warren Bechthold started this tradition back in 2004 and it has grown bigger each year we do this! We serve hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers and sausages with pop and water! All proceeds are split between the three charities we donate to which are: Children’s Health Foundation in London, The Princess Margret Cancer foundation and WRHN Foundation! Last year we raised around $38,000 dollars and we are hoping to pass that amount this year! We have lots of volunteers who dedicate their time and effort to make sure this event runs smoothly, with also the support and help of our family who make any and all of this possible!
