The Region of Waterloo invites you to Waste Discovery Day  a free, family-friendly event where you can learn what happens to your waste after it leaves the curb.

• Guided bus tours of the landfill
• Falconer meet and greet
• Face painting and children’s games
• Mint planting activity
• Food truck on-site
• Waste management equipment showcase

Get a behind-the-scenes look at how garbage, organics, and yard waste are managed, and explore the trucks used for collection.
