Each year, the Grade 12 business leadership students at Huron Heights Secondary School host a Charity Auction that supports a local family in the community. This year’s Charity Auction proceeds will help to support the Moscato family. The Moscato family is a family of five with 2 members fighting a cancer diagnosis. Elisa (mom) is currently in treatment and awaiting test results. Joel’s cancer (age 11) is now in remission.
We will use the funds from the auction to help cover some of the daily costs for the family and unexpected medical needs. Please consider helping this local family by donating a product, gift basket or gift certificate to the Charity Auction. The success of the auction is directly related to the generosity of businesses that donate items. The auction is a great way to promote your business, as it is well attended by the community and is covered by either The Record or CTV.
If you are unable to donate today, but are able to donate before Wednesday, November 27, please drop the item off at the school office between 7:30 a.m – 3:00 p.m Monday – Friday. Alternatively, please contact me by email to arrange for the item to be picked up. You can also support the local family by attending the Charity Auction held in the Huron Heights’ library on Tuesday, December 3 from 8:30 a.m – 2:30 p.m. and Wednesday, December 4 from 5:15 p.m. – 8:15 p.m. Thank you for your support of the Charity Auction.
