What made you do it? That is one of the most frequent questions people ask me. They don't usually ask 'how did you do it', people ask 'why'? How I did it is an easy question to answer than why.
At the beginning it was just a radio contest that I thought I would try to become a part of, a contest that I would enter but get no further than an online entry. One online entry turned into an opportunity to change my life, an opportunity to feel better about myself and get in shape.
Popeyes is the 'How' I did it. The staff at Popeyes handed everything to me, and I ran with it! No Excuses! No Reason to Fail!
The gym along with the staff at Popeyes are fantastic, knowledgeable, and fun. The facility is clean, up to date and very user friendly with everything a person would need not only to get in shape but stay fit and looking good, Tanning included! Trainers are everywhere, willing to answer any questions one may have. A variety of Tasty Protein shakes are available at the front counter as well as supplements and other items to help anyone through the day.
Wes Hodgson also played a huge role in my success. He introduced me to Healthy Eating. And would you believe all the food I needed for a healthy lifestyle was right here in my local grocery store! Wes also helped me realize that all the tools for exercise were right here at Popeyes Gym, along with Personal Instructors! Fool proof!
There were three important factors that changed my life. My eating habits, exercise and determination. Changing my 'diet' was easy, it really was. I was eating food that was not good for me, food that made me fat, how do I know this, because I was Fat! Now I eat food that is good for me, I am not on a diet nor am I starving myself, I eat healthy, nutritious meals that give me energy and do not make me Fat! Its not a diet, just healthy eating.
I wasn't getting enough exercise, how do I know, because I wasn't doing any! Now I exercise regularly, not all the time just regularly, and properly.
Determination is the tricky one. This is the Why of Weight loss. For me it changed throughout the event. Everyday I had a reason to get in shape, feel good and look good, and even when I look back and remember how hard the beginning was, today its all worth it!
